Trussell Trust Network

Coventry foodbank is proud to be part of the The Trussell Trust's UK foodbank network. There are over 420 foodbanks in the UK and locally Rugby, Kenilworth, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Hinckley, Stratford, Warwick and Leamington have all joined the network as well. Read more

Coventry Foodbank distributes food through 14 partner churches

There is a foodbank open somewhere in the City every day of the week! We are now providing food to well over 350 people a week. Some distribution points are busier than others and you may experience considerable wait times.

Restricted Easter Opening Times - the following centres are closed over Easter :

Friday 18th April, 2014 : Hebron and the Hope Centre are both closed but food can still be obtained from St Catherine's Church, Stoke Aldermoor (11:00 a.m.  - 1:00 p.m.)

Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th : as normal

Monday 21st April, 2014 : All centres are closed

Tuesday 22nd April : as normal except CCM which is closed

Wednesday 23rd April : as normal

Thursday 24th Aril : as normal except QRBC which is closed

Friday 25th April : as normal

Coventry foodbank in the news

Coventry foodbank continues to attract national and local press interest. Some of this is positive and some less so. The recent one hour documentary by David Modell entitled "Britains Hidden Hungry" highlighted the plight of Charlotte and a number of other foodbank clients.

Charlotte is now studying at University and she will receive support from many people who where moved by her story. If you were moved by Charlotte's story and would like to donate then please contact the Trussell Trust directly.

Coventry Clothes Bank

Coventry Clothes Bank is holding a one day pre-loved clothing event to help raise funds for the running costs of Coventry Foodbank.


The event will be held on Saturday the 15th of March 2014 from 11:30am to 2:30pm. at :

The Hope Centre
Vauxhall StreetHillfields

£1.00 admission on the door or FREE Admission if you bring an item of clothing to sell and donate 50% back to the Coventry Foodbank.

We will be selling various items and quality named brands throughout the day, items will range from:

  • Partywear
  • Menswear
  • Shirts & Ties
  • Handbags
  • Scarves
  • Belts & Shoes (Shoes provided by The Shoebank)
  • Baby items (Hand Knits, Socks, Baby Vests & Baby Grows


Coventry Clothes Bank has now distributed over 150 clothes parcels. We have a very good stock of all sizes of clothes including baby clothes.
